The game is developed and published by Telltale Games, associated with Skybound Entertainment. Season 4, re-titled The Walking Dead: Season Four and The Walking Dead: The Final Season, is the fourth and final season of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead. It was confirmed at the end of "From The Gallows". It will mark the return of playable protagonist, Clementine, and Alvin Jr.. The first episode is set to be released in August 14, 2018. Unlike many graphic adventure games, The Walking Dead does not emphasize puzzle solving, but instead focuses on story and character development. The story is affected by both the dialogue choices of the player and their actions during quick time events, which can often lead to, for example, certain characters being killed, or an adverse change in the disposition of a certain character or characters towards Clementine. The choices made by the player carry over from episode to episode. Choices were tracked by Telltale, and used to influence their writing in later episodes. Main characters: Clementine ("Clem"), Alvin Jr ("AJ"), Lee Everett, Marlon, Louis, Violet ("Vi"), Brody, Sophie, Minerva ("Minnie"), Aasim, Tennessee ("Tenn"), Mitch, Willy, Omar, Rosie the Dog
